Get Started with ÄHKY® Support: How to Recover from Compulsive Eating and Food Addiction
ÄHKY® Support-group
The group is aimed at adults who suffer from compulsive eating and food addiction. The meetings are guided by an expert to explore factors behind compulsive eating and tools and methods that support your recovery. Peer support is at the heart of the meetings.
The group includes:
Professionally guided weekly online meetings (5 meetings, max. 9 participants)
Information about the psychology of eating and nutrition
An opportunity to examine your eating behaviour and factors behind it.
An opportunity to share your experiences with others in the same situation and start your journey towards more balanced eating.
A reunion meeting online after 1 month.
The group is hosted by addiction specialist Liisa Kiilunen from ÄHKY.
Attending the first group meeting is important. If you are unsure about being able to attend, please contact us at info@ahky.fi. To participate in the group, you will need a working internet connection and a computer, tablet or smartphone with a camera. You will also need a microphone and headphones. The meetings take place on Teams or Zoom video conferencing platform.

A registration fee of €5 will be charged when you sign up. The registration fee is non-refundable even if you cancel your participation (please see Terms and Conditions). This small fee is intended to encourage commitment to the group. Participation in group meetings and activities is free after paying the registration fee.

Registration takes place on the Webropol platform. If the group is full, a page will appear where you can sign up to the waiting list. If a vacancy becomes available, everyone on the waiting list will receive an automatic message. The fastest to sign up will be allocated a place.
